Project Wind-bound!

Hey-ho~ I've been writing a script/screenplay to fulfill my far fetched dream of making my own manga. I always wanted to make one since I was in college. I did write scripts before but sadly I didn't bring them all with me when I moved to Australia. So I decided to start on a new one.

I thought it would be easier for me this time too  as this one I'm writing is a one-shot project which seems rather doable unlike the initial project I started ages back which was way too long. It was one of a 12-part series. And thus, due to my incompetence, its not happening. So now I'm working on my first short entitled: "Wind-bound". I haven't gone to the storyboard yet though. I'm still writing a screenplay, setting the whole thing up, and drawing the main characters on the side to help me visualize things better.

So far I was able to complete the character design for Edmund Wing, the man of the story. Here's a little preview of him: mufufufufufu

I'm happy I was able to render the look I was thinking of. However, I wanted to achieve a latte colored skin tone for this dude and its not exactly how I imagined it. Its really freaking hard for me to pull off. I wanted a cross between Brazilian tan and Chinese white. Much like a latte colored skin. I want that fresh, and healthy skin tone. I might try this one again. Although, this one's actually not bad, its just that I feel like doing something else and that I can do better. Hopefully enough I can work on that.

Another thing on my mind right now is my problem with background arts. I can't draw it very well. I might need to ask some help from people or I could study it. Well I'm off here, fight fight!~ See you around!

Much love,

Natsuhiko
